Centrifuge Filters
Using the centrifugal force created by the oil-powered gyrating motor inside the centrifuge.
The centrifuge (LC 60, LC 200, LC 400 & LC 600) are designed to prolong the life of lubrication oil used in Marine & Industrial engines. This centrifuge very effectively removed particles below [5] microns, resulting in a substantial reduction in the wear of the engine components and mother system.
Why Centrifuge?
Considerable Reduction in OPEX & CAPEX cost
-
Reduction in equipment/engine Downtime,
-
Reduce Engine Wear.
-
Extended Oil Life & Service Intervals.
Extended life of other peripheral oil filters.
Efficient & Effective Oil filtration throughout the service life
-
Centrifugal oil cleaner effectively removes very fine particles
(5 μ and below) from oil, saving critical engine & machine com-
ponents from abrasive wear that would otherwise affect the
engine & machine performance.
Working Of Centrifuge
-
The centrifugal oil filter uses centrifugal force for separation of dirt from oil.
-
The oil contaminated with solid particles is admitted under pressure in the rotor bowl.
-
The oil exits the rotor bow, through two nozzles located either on top or at bottom of the centrifuge rotor.
-
The exit velocity of the oil gives a reaction force to the centrifuge rotor and the rotor rotates at a very high speed.
-
The solid dirt particles in suspension in oil experience a centrifugal force in excess of 2000 times gravity and are thrown radially outwards. The solid dirt gets stuck on the bowl wall and the clean oil is drained from the bowl
